Empowering Afghan Students with Support That Matters

The Afghan Empowerment Counseling Program is a nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) dedicated to uplifting Afghan and minority students through mentorship, education, and emotional support. We understand the unique challenges immigrant and refugee students face while adjusting to a new educational system, culture, and environment—and we are here to walk with them every step of the way.

We are educators, counselors, community leaders, and passionate advocates committed to making a real difference. Our team shares a common goal: to build safe, inclusive spaces where Afghan students feel seen, heard, and supported.

Meet Our Team

Why It Matters

Many Afghan students arrive in the U.S. with interrupted education, language barriers, and emotional trauma from displacement. These students often lack the resources and support systems that are critical to success. Our work bridges that gap—providing care, direction, and encouragement so they can thrive.

To make education accessible and empowering for Afghan youth by providing personalized guidance, culturally sensitive counseling, and community-based support systems that help students succeed in academics and in life.
